CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF OUR CLUB 1922 -2022

Three Day Centenary Event - 19-22 August 2022

The Franklin Club was formed on August 18th, 1922, at an inaugural meeting in Mr Percy George's tearooms in lower King Street.  The Club Centenary Committee is excited to invite all members past and present, their family and guests and the wider Franklin community to join us in celebrating this significant milestone this year at a special Three Day Event on the weekend of 19-22 August 2022.

Event Schedule

Friday 19 August: A typical Club Night with Event Registration, Welcome and Meet & Greet nibbles and platters from 5.30pm.  A must win $1000 membership draw will be drawn at 6:30pm. The restaurant and bar will be open with raffles and entertainment throughout the evening. The Counties game will be live on the bigscreen followed by DJ P.M until late.

Saturday 20 August:  The Club will open from 12pm with normal Club activities available to all.  The Gala Dinner and Dance will provide the main event of the weekend from 7pm till late.  ***Tickets still available****

 

Sunday 21 August:  The final day kicks off with a brunch and music from Mark Taipara to keep us entertained.  Punters Club will be featuring after lunch with $10 entry to have a stake in the pot. Centenary Celebrations will conclude with the closing ceremony, speeches and raffle draw from 2pm.
